Work has begun on the £250,000 complete refurbishment of the old Saab Garage on Anlaby Road for the Builders Merchant Giant, Jewsons. The site will replace the Calvert Lane Depot due to closure later in the year.

Those of you familiar with the building supplier market will recognise Jewson as one of the leading UK brands, with branches nationwide and five in our region. Out of these, the Calvert Lane, Hull branch will soon be closing to allow a smooth transition into the newly developed site on Anlaby Road, for which MJC won the construction contract.
The project has allowed a business relationship to form which has strengthened links, with benefits being passed on to both clients. It has allowed MJC to work with Jewson's proposal and develop what will become a quality recognised outlet by all the local construction community.
