Mitchell James Contractors Limited has been commisioned to develop a state-of-the-art playground for a prestigious childcare day nursery.
Educare Nursery - which opened nine years ago and is based in Mill Lane, Beverley - has appointed Mitchell James Contractors Limited (MJC) to project manage the building of a new playground in time for toddlers to play outside in the summer. Plans are well underway for the project and work is due to start in seven weeks time.
David Whincup, director of Educare Nursery, said: "We are delighted to be embarking on this significant project with MJC. When appointing a contractor to oversee the development of our new playground, it was important to get a company on board which had a high level of skill and experience in the construction field.
"I know that MJC will ensure the project runs smoothly and remains on time, within budget. The most important thing for us is to make sure our children have a safe and fun environment to play in outside when summer is upon us."
MJC oversees and delivers a wide range of construction, refurbishment and renovation contracts. Managing director Jamie Dempster said: "I am pleased to be working with Educare Nursery to develop a playground that is not only safe and secure, but also fun and effective in an educational capacity too.
